Controls are easily combined with dock leveler controls to integrate entire dock system.
A set of standard and mirrored image caution signs warns truck driver to “Pull In Or Out On Green Only”.




Operation


As a trailer backs into position, the exterior light is green and the interior light is red. Once the trailer is positioned against the dock bumpers, the operator depresses the "engage" button. The interior caution light is amber and the exterior light is red while the restraint is in motion. The Hold-Tite rotates and seeks out the RIG. Once the trailer is secured the inside light will display green and the outside light will display red. An optional exterior strobe light indicator provides additional emphasis to driver during activation and by-pass operation. The Hold-Tite provides a positive engagement for horizontal forces while the trailer is being loaded/unloaded. After the loading/unloading is complete, the operator depresses the "release" button. When the trailer is released and the restraint is safely stored the interior light changes to red while the exterior light changes to green.

Hydraulics & Electrical


The restraint is engaged by a hydraulic cylinder that allows the Hold-Tite restraint bar to securely engage and hold a trailers RIG bar. Pump and motor are 1.5hp TENV at 102V or 208V single phase or 208V, 20V, 460V or 575V three phase (remote mounted units). Control panel is NEMA 4/12 with all components, connections and wiring UL listed and/or recognized. Panels are built in-house in UL approved control panel shop.




Color


Zinc finish as standard. Other colors and finishes available, consult
factory.



Vehicle Restraint System


The HOLD-TITE® vehicle restraint is available as a stand alone unit or integrated with other loading dock equipment through an optional integrated control panel. Unit incorporates a self contained motor/pump assembly. The HOLD-TITE® helps prevent unexpected trailer departure from the loading dock and eliminates trailer creep by design during the loading/unloading process.
