Frigo 3 High Speed Door

Utilization

To separate a below freezing storage area from a refrigerated or warm storage area. The Frigo 3 curtain has the highest level of insulation added by welding two air cushions between three layers of fabric. It is further designed to prevent warm air from going over the curtain through a special patented Nergeco system, which prevents air drafts and ice deposits while facilitating high traffic.

Description

The Nergeco Frigo 3 door frame is made of steel or stainless steel. Each curtain is made of polyester fabric with PVC coating on both sides to remain flexible in cold storage environments. Each curtain has high insulation properties that include air cushions welded between three fabric layers. The curtain ensures a tight seal to all four sides of the frame to establish an airtight barrier. R-value = 5.5

Operation

Upon activation the curtain folds up at a speed 48 inches per second. As soon as the traffic has passed the door quickly closes the curtain to maintain a controlled temperature environment.

Cold Air Separation

Contrary to conventional curtain systems the innovative Nergeco design uses several horizontal stiffening tubes to press the flexible curatin firmly into all four sides of the door frame, greatly increasing the airtight barrier. Nergeco Frigo Doors further differ from conventional systems due to the insulation design, which adapts to the various temperature barrier requirements.
