Frigo 1 High Speed Door

Utilization

To separate two below freezing cold storage areas. Nergeco manufactures a roll-up curtain to allow for short opening and closing times. This feature maintains the airtight barrier between the tow below freezing areas without any danger to passing pedestrians or product damage due to impact. The design prevents air drafts and ice deposits while facilitating high traffic. The Frigo 1 is not recommended for use for large temperature difference separations.

Description

The Nergeco Frigo 1 door frame is made of steel or stainless steel. Each curtain is made of polyester fabric with PVC coating on both sides to remain flexible in freezer environments. The curtain ensures a tight seal on all four sides of the frame to establish an airtight barrier. Curtain R-value = 1.37

Operation

Upon activation the curtain is rolled up into the central roll cover at a speed 48 inches per second. As soon as the traffic has passed, the door quickly closes the curtain to maintain a controlled temperature environment.

Cold Air Separation

Contrary to conventional curtain systems the innovative Nergeco design uses several horizontal stiffening tubes to press the flexible curatin firmly into all four sides of the door frame, greatly increasing the airtight barrier. Nergeco Frigo Doors further differ from conventional systems due to the insulation design, which adapts to the various temperature barrier requirements.

Heated Threshold - Floor excavation depth: 1.25 inches to be filled with freezer type resin.
